| Chicken Balti Pie (30/04/2008) A big money transfer has been put on hold. Maybe Ronaldinho or Jo.I wonder how much of an influence the walk out on Saturday had on these events. I stayed to see the team afterwards but the Stadium was pretty empty, I'm sure that this would have pissed of Shinawatra especially as he was on the stage to give away the car at the end.

| | SSN are reporting a quote from Thaksin son and board member as saying that Sven will be in charge for the end of season tour to the far east. WTF is going on. Sven to lead City on tourEriksson expected to take team to Thailand and Hong KongEriksson: Future in doubt Related linksTeamsAlso seeSven Goran Eriksson is expected to lead Manchester City on an end-of-season tour to Asia. The Swede's long-term future as City boss is in severe doubt, with reports suggesting he will be sacked after the final two games of the campaign. However, City owner Thaksin Shinawatra's son Panthongtae claims Eriksson will still be manager when City play games in Thailand and Hong Kong. Panthongtae is a director of the club and is not expecting Eriksson to be dismissed immediately after the last Premier League fixture of the season against Middlesbrough on 11th May. Speaking to reporters in Thailand, Panthongtae said of Eriksson: "He will lead the squad to Thailand." City are due to arrive in Thailand on 14th May and will play against a Thailand Premier All-Stars team three days later before playing two matches in Hong Kong later in the month. Eriksson has only been in the City job for one season, but appears to have failed to impress owner Thaksin, who bought the club last year. The League Managers' Association have already expressed their concern about the likely of departure of Eriksson, who has secured City a top-10 finish in the Premier League.

| Not leaving immediately? So he is going or not? Suggests he is, but I would love it, if it turned out to be press BS!! Especially the Beeb, they would look very silly with all the articles yesterday!! If I was Sven and was getting the boot, Id tell TS to fook right off, if he asked me to go on a publicity tour!!

| But then you'd be breaking your contract and lose any payoff you might be expecting...

| Betcha a fiver he'd rather not break his contract and take his £1.5M. Pride is all well and good, but money's money. And those of who who say otherwise are telling porkies.

| We need to get this sorted ASAP. Sven is rumoured to have put a big money signing on hold yesterday so if this hadn't happened we could have a new player already. We need to get it fixed for the team aswell. They all love Sven as much as we do and him leaving could see a number of them going too. Does anyone think they'll do a special celebration if they score or something on Sunday? I hope so.
I know its a slim chance but i'm still hoping everything will be back to normal soon, Thaksin will admit it was a mistake to say what he said and this can be forgotten.
