True but he still spent £80m of his own money buying the club and wiping out the debt.

I will be disappointed as any City fan as it becomes increasingly apparent that this will happen. But I don't think we should be calling for Shinawatra's head becuase without him we wouldn't have brought Sven in at all and wouldn't have had the season we have.

Maybe we have lost out on some targets and he feels Sven isn't a big enough draw to some players. Perhaps he wants a younger hungier manager who is in his peak. Perhaps he wants to bring in the Thai national manager....who knows but until we do know then we should keep our powder dry.

I take your point, but even if he brings in the best manager in the world, it is still a load of disruption that the club really doesn't need, and it is all totally unnecessary.  I think most people are so alarmed at this development not because we are about to lose Sven, specifically, but because Thaksin will have shown himself to be unrealistic, unreasonable and fickle, someone who sets a target then still isn't satisfied when it is achieved and instead demands the impossible.  Someone who is incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to work for.  The whole situation is ludicrous, and doesn't bode well for the future.

god lb you make hin sound like my wife lol

the thing is if he does go it means a whole lot of rebuilding again and you know whoever it is ,is only gonna have 6 weeks to do it again and the 40 mil sven spent might as well have been thrown down the drain cuz players will leave and the new manager will want to build a side in his own image

have you ever seen them in a room together?  No?  Hmmm....

Exactly, who knows how many of the current players will still be around to see if they fit into the new manager's plans?  Our best players will be cherry-picked by other clubs amidst all the uncertainty, and do we trust anyone to put their foot down and stop that happening?

I think it's gone beyond speculation now. Tord has said he thinks him and sven will both be gone in weeks, svens not denying it, neither are the club apart from saying 'everyone is concentrating on the last two games'.

Has anyone heard from scolari yet? I mean, he's the one they're saying has been lined up to replace sven. What's he saying about it?

Nobody really knows what's going on. nobody knows what frank's thinking.

if he does sack him maybe he's got reasons that we don't know about yet.

There's just a different feel about the way this is being reported from all the usual speculation that you get. I take your point that nobody knows for sure if he's going, or even if there is another underlying reason why that hasn't been mentioned yet but... I dont know, yesterday I would have agreed with you, but now...
