| | Any time U2 are mentioned here, everyone seems to slag the fuck out of them. They hav sold more albums and concert tickets than nearly any bands that have ever existed. Some of the consumers must post on here. Confessions please!

Some of the consumers must post on here. Confessions please! I've got all their stuff up to and including Zooropa (1993), but nothing since. I prefer their earlier stuff like War and Boy though. In Gods country, New years Day, Drowning Man, Where the streets have no name, van Diemens land, I will Follow etc, etc are some of my chosen tuneages.
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort That they better start assembling the boys from the fort. And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight, 'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight. |

| I've seen them a few times over the years. The first time was in 1983. They were supporting Rory Gallagher. Bono decided to go to the barrier and sign autographs during Rory's set. I thought it was disrepectful of the stack-heeled ginger bollocks. Bono asked me if I wanted my ticket signed. I told him to "fuck off".

| I've never bought any of their records, but I don't mind them. I have bought a ticket to see them live, when they played at COMS.
All that Zooropa stuff's pretty good.

| Loved their early stuff, but they went well off the boil after The Joshua Tree IMO. Seen them live 3 times, twice back in 87 on The Joshua Tree tour and they were amazing, again on the Zoo TV tour, It was plain to see at that gig what direction they were going in. Not my thing.
