I've seen Big Star live btw Bassman.they reformed didn't they a few years ago, so it wouldn't have been with chris Bell would it? seeing as he's dead.

Well done Mr Holmes.A corpse onstage would be quite novel though. The closest I've seen to that was Bobby Gilespie with Primal Scream in the early 90s.

Well done Mr Holmes.you heard I am the Cosmos? Chris bell solo album. I heard This Mortal Coil do a cover of 'you and your sister' which was pretty damn good, which i have got somewhere on a compilation.

My next purchase (this evening) will be Madonna Hard Candy and Portishead 3.I saw the new Fall album in Tower so I bought that instead of Madonna. How many people can say they've done that?

I can safely say that i have never left to go music shopping, having the idea of buying a Madonna album at the forefront of my mind.
