| | Albert Riera is ready to ask away from Espanyol. DiarioSport says Espanyol are prepared to listen to offers for the left-sided winger, who has attracted Premiership interest from Manchester City and Liverpool this season. Although it is laughable i wouldnt mind another left winger. He did very well for us i thought, whats your opinions if he did come back?

| He was only 26 last month  He had an outstanding game against sevillia in the uefa cup final scoring a goal and displaying some outstanding skills. He is also a spanish international now.
Lets just look at how majestic he really is.

| Not a bad player but too slow for the Prem.
I think we are past signing players like him. He's more Bolton's type of player now. |

Beckham is shown pace is not everything in the premiership. I dont think he is a bad player, and to be so young still (just turned 26) and getting into the spanish national side is great improvment on his behalf. Would you agree we need another left winger though?

| Beckham , when at Utd, was no slouch tho. Faster than Riera anyway. Riera was too slow on the ball, couldnt/wouldnt track back, too weak and his crossing was nowhere near as good as Beckham's was. I can understand the comparison but its a mismatch in terms of quality and suitability for the prem.
Do we need another left winger? Na, I dont think so. Castillo can play there and I think he will be a real asset next season. |

| We definitely need cover on the left, but I don't think Riera's that player. Too slow, as was said up there ^^^.
Maybe Weiss will be the cover on the left next season?

| I'm getting kinda sick of watching highlight reels of players doing just tricks when its quite clear that nothing comes from them goals etc. I did like him when he played for us but I don't think he is right player to help this team progress

Fair comment, though he is far from a mug though. You dont become a spanish international if you dont have talent and they certainly have that.
