I guess Sturrudge will be following big Ish out of the doorSamaras, Bianchi & Corradi will defo be off in the summer, Castillo is only on loan until January anyway. A good side needs plenty of strikers, I suspect that at the start of next season we'll have Benjani, Bojinov & Caicedo for sure. I hope Vassell stays as he can cover a few positions and gives 100% plus Bojinov will be like having a new signing. I also see Sturridge staying as he's only young and Sven seems to rate him, I can also see us signing a couple more strikers one being a big name crowd puller.

| THE agent of reported Manchester City target Jo believes "something will happen" in the near future to allow the CSKA Moscow striker to move to Eastlands.
It was claimed in a report earlier this week that the 21-year-old Brazilian - whose full name is Joao Alves de Assis Silva - was set to sign for the Barclays Premier League club in a euros 20 million deal despite recently extending his contract with the Russians to 2011.
His agent Marcelo Djian has now expressed confidence that a move can be agreed, despite apparent differences in the valuation of the player.
"I've made some calls to Russia and they told me there was no formal offer, but I think something will happen," Djian told www.globoesporte.com.
"I know CSKA president (Evgeny Giner) wants 25 million euros, the release clause to sell Jo."

well against any common sense I think Samaras just earned himself another half season with his spell at Celtic. Honest.
Vassell should stay, yup, I have changed my mind.
Castillo should be signed and loaned out. Young, has talent and skill. There you go.

| i think caceido was a poor signing. hasnt done much so far and cost a lot. Plus before we signed him sturridge was gettin in the side but caceido has taken his place on the bench and pushed sturridge further down the pecking order, i dnt see how this is fair as sturridge scored agaisnt sheffield and derby.

On the other hand Caceido is very young and he is already an Ecuadorian national. He could become a great player in some years. So I wouldn't call him a poor signing or too expensive.

Agreed. He has come on in the last 10 minutes of games and has actually created numerous opportunities for the side and got robbed of a goal against Bolton. Most of the time when he comes on though he is meant to hold up the ball and move it around. He is built like a fuckin' tank and that is why I think Sven puts him in in those situations rather than Sturridge because he can hold the ball up much better by himself upfront. You have to look at the role he has been playing in and I don't think we have seen the best of him yet. For cryin out loud he is only 19 and is only going to get better.
I suggest we drink.. before we go out to drink |

| I think caicedo is a quality player and only 19. He has had a lot of good reviews in south america, and i can see the talent, give him time.
