One more to get rid of.... Keegan wants to buy defender Richard Dunne from Manchester City. (The Sun)
kebad and booze hell for Dunne, and it was Keegan who saved him, im scared anyway. | Toon Make Official Approach For Dunne | | | | Man City captain Richard Dunne is the top priority for summer signings for Kevin Keegan as far as defenders go and the Toon boss has launched a £5million official approach, so rumour in The Echo has it.
Dunne is still stalling on a new contract with Man City so could depart this summer even though Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to hold onto the Irish defender, recently named the Republic of Ireland Player of the Year.
Keegan missed out on Luka Modric over the weekend when he decided to move to Spurs, but can he now capture 28-year-old Dunne in the coming weeks to kick-off his summer spending spree?

Can't have this. Afterall, who would be the club's player of the year for the next 5 years or so?

| £5 million? Fuck off. He needs to get his contract sorted sharpish, then that'd be an end to bids as low as that.

He's off making my tea and cleaning the house if he wants to avoid being on the receiving end.

| Timpblue (21/04/2008) Would agree with all of the above - apart from Garrido - he's only 21 and will get better - let's not forget we nicked from under the noses of quite a few top flight spanish teamsI dont see the top spanish teams coming after him now, i said earlier in the season defensively he is a liability, if we are to push on for a top 6 finish next year he just aint good enough, same goes for sun. We need a better calibre of player to take us to the next level, a quality left back with ball as cover is the way forward.

Too often, we lose sight of lifes simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and bitch-slap that mother....pass it on. |
