| The section where he talks about how happy he is in the North West is very good to hear! His family obviously love Manchester, which forms a solid foundation for his football. This is great news for next season, we have to keep hold of him - top goalscorer says a lot about his quality.

| | taken from the OS... City's Brazilian star, Elano, has been speaking about his first season in the Barclays Premier League ahead of this afternoon's clash with Portsmouth at the City of Manchester Stadium. The exciting midfielder also reinforced how happy he is at the Club and gave his backing to Manager Sven-Goran Eriksson. After a blistering start to the campaign, the 26-year-old endured a mid-season dip in form, but over the last few weeks the Brazilian international has shown signs of his undoubted talent. He revealed: "My form dipped because of a muscle injury, but I'm playing now where I like to play and I'm getting back to my best. "I'm looking forward to being even better next season, because now I know what it is like in England. I will be prepared for the difference in pitches, the weather, everything. "I know people always expect me to do well but that is not a problem for me. I will always work hard for the team and give my best as I feel settled."
As for his Manager, who has been the focus of much media attention again this week, Elano said: "The manager is an excellent person and I owe him a great deal. When I tell him my worries, he listens to what I have to say. "There was a spell when I was left out of the side and I was not happy. I explained my situation to him and he gave his reasons. I can always express my feelings to the manager." And after his penalty then fine throughball set up Darius Vassell for last week's winner at Sunderland, Elano will be hoping for another three points today against a Portsmouth side battling with City for European football next season. "I understand the Club have never had more points in the Premier League. That is good but we need to win our remaining games if we want to play in Europe," he said before ending: "I am happy at this club and so are my wife and family. When my mother came over to visit, she did not want to go back. So now England is my favourite national team after Brazil." Well that really is criticising Sven ain't it, what a shower of shite the tabloids turge out. |

| | he is right about the tactics. He does not really criticize Sven but he could have defended him more especially at this point of time. On the upside it is always good when the wife and the family is happy.
