| | Make your predictions. I'm going for Calzaghe win in either the 10th, or to win on points

| Is it on PPV? If so and you know someone who can tune to German TV, you can get it for free. I won't be staying up to watch it though.
Calzaghe ought to win and has to win. He cannot afford to lose.
I want calzaghe to win, but have a very uneasy feeling about this one.

| Heart says Calzaghe on a middle rounds stoppage. Head says Calzaghe on points.
May very well be a cagey fight. May even be quite shit.

| | He's moved up to light heavy for this fight hasn't he? That's always a bit risque. Even if he wins I dont think he'll get the credit he thinks he's always deserved but has never had. People will say he beat man well past his prime. This thing about not getting the credit he deserves... I think he's only got himself to blame for that. He shoulda gone for one of the "better" belts earlier in his career. The WBO has never been held in as high esteem as the others. Not at any weight. Having said all that, I hope he wins and I think he will. Maybe.

| dont know much about boxing, but i reckon calzaghe will win. last time i saw him he looked awesome, even if his opponent was carrying an injury that night.

| Agreed SMJ, I think the fairest result there would of been a Draw. Think Hopkins milked the "Not So Low Low Blow" for the full 5 minutes, and that rattled Calzaghe, it knocked him off his stride.
Wish Joe Cortez would be less American biased. Mayweather Hatton, because it was Hatton who went in close, it wasn't allowed, but last night Hopkins did nothing but hang on to Calzaghe

the low blow thing was a joke.
i would have had calzaghe ahead for his work rate. however, i do think that had they met about 5 years ago at super middle, Calzaghe may have had a couple of problems. Hopkins looked the heavier puncher, but his age showed. plus his negative tactics didn't help.

| | Was a fair decision for me. Hardly a classic fight, but Calazaghe worked harder and came back well from the knockdown. I thought it was going to be an embarrassing night after that. That's not to say it couldn't have gone the other way, and the judge that had Calzaghe around 5 points ahead called it wrong. But i don't think there can be too many arguements with the decision. Well done Joe
