Benny (20/04/2008) Here's to Michael Johnson.Cheers. I heard some quotes from Johnson's agent on Century tonight - he sounds a bit of an idiot. "We don't feel Michael's new contract reflects his worth." Why did you tell him to sign it then, fucktard? hahahaha, what a stupid agent!!! |

Hahahahahhaaaaa what a load Ralph Bullocks. MEDIA reports have suggested Arsenal are in the hunt to sign Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson. The Sunday Mirror have claimed the 20-year-old could be on his way out of the City of Manchester Stadium because his advisors believe he is being underpaid, despite only signing his new deal last year. That is said to have alerted the Gunners, who could face stiff competition to sign the player with Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle also said to be interested in the former Leeds and Everton youth. Arsenal are planning a major bid for. Update about the bid: Arsenal join race for £14m Brit kid: This guy is top class!Sven faces one hell of a task keeping hold of his young talents at Manchester City. Michael Johnson is one of his best prospects but now it appears that Arsene Wenger has joined all and sundry in the race for his long-term future Manchester City are battling to hold on to £14m rated youngster Michael Johnson as Arsenal have now entered the race for the talented midfielder, who has already attracted the interest of Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle (The Mirror).
I would still rate Liverpool as favourites for the 20-year-old should he indeed leave Eastlands. Rafa has been after the former Everton schoolboy for most of the season apparently. Clearly Arsenal are a breeding ground for bringing on talented kids so maybe Johnson will opt for a move to London, who knows? He could stay at Man City and in a way I think that would be the best move as he would be showing his loyalty to the club that gave him his big break and with Eriksson at the helm they are moving in the right directio

| | Two things go hand in hand right? Agents get a sniff of more money in their pocket, all of a sudden other clubs interested!! Sign another deal, get paid again, not bad work if you can get it !!

| | 14 million is a lot of money, especially for a player with one year's experience at the highest level. I don't doubt the interest is there, but the price is suspicious. |
