| I think Ballack's looked pretty fucking good recently when I've seen him, Wigan match excepted.

| Bill Bastard (22/04/2008) I think Ballack's looked pretty fucking good recently when I've seen him, Wigan match excepted.I have to confess to not having seen him play recently. I was going off his first season at the club.

| He didn't do much did he? Although I suppose its hard to stand out with the likes of Essien, Lampard and Makelele already established.
Same thing goes for Mikel - he's looked a cracking player over the last few months, but seemed absolute gash at first.

But then like you say, in a team with the players you mention, maybe it's harder to stand out. Plus sometimes I think reputation goes before them and it can be hard to live up to the hype.
