| Chicken Balti Pie (16/04/2008) Brazilian playmaker Diego has ruled out a move from Werder Bremen to Manchester City or Real Madrid this summer.
City had reportedly joined the Spanish champions in the chase for the 23-year-old's services - but the midfielder insists he is going nowhere.
He told bild.de: "I feel very comfortable in Bremen and I am not thinking about my future.
"I have a contract for three years and there is no reason to leave."Thats not 'ruling out', thats playing safe in case nothing should happen this summer. Most players say this crap

MCFC_Boss (15/04/2008) Diego probably wants more than 10m to join us.
Michael Johnson is city4life I don't think ever he would leave the blues.I agree. He seems to fight for a win and hustle his ass off more than any player on the team. i don't think he is in top form but early in the season he was brilliant and I think SVE agrees. He is going nowhere. True, in addition he is not really in the top form because of the injury he got mid December as I believe. |

| | Manchester City will sell Stephen Ireland to Sunderland for about £8m in the summer. (The Sun) Must be true then?
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

Timpblue (15/04/2008) Sven-Goran Eriksson wants to sign Werder Bremen's Brazilian midfielder Diego for Manchester City for £10m. (Various)
The Liverpool boss is also keen to bring Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson to Anfield in a £12m deal. (Mail)
I might be wrong, but I am sure when I saw Werder's starting line up for one game,Diego looked much smaller than the claimed 5ft 8. A good tricky player, but the Bundesliga is no real proving ground for players.
Actually, I think it is one of the best for the Prem. It is quite similar really. Look at Berbatov, Santa Cruz , Ballack . All recent signings doing well. |
