I have to say, Johnson is not worth more than Diego.
He's proven Premiership quality. Diego might well turn out to be another Forlan/Crespo/Kezman. English too, ergo worth more.

I have to say, Johnson is not worth more than Diego.If that's the price it would take to persuade us to sell, then that's what he's worth. Not that I think we should sell him, but it all depends on how long their relative contracts are, and how much their clubs value them or need the money etc.

| Johnson is priceless imo. before his injury he was looking as much of a star as any of the big names Sven brought in. In a season or two we could be looking at one of the best in the league.

I don't see Johnson going anywhere. I'd be more pissed off if we sold him than i would be about almost any other player

| I've posted on here before about how much I rate him. Presumably everyone knows the club does too, which is why the press are talking about £12m. It's a lot of money, but only any good if he could be replaced with equivalent or better for the money. I still think it's all just speculation, though.

Michael Johnson is city4life I don't think ever he would leave the blues.
I agree. He seems to fight for a win and hustle his ass off more than any player on the team. i don't think he is in top form but early in the season he was brilliant and I think SVE agrees. He is going nowhere.

| Brazilian playmaker Diego has ruled out a move from Werder Bremen to Manchester City or Real Madrid this summer.
City had reportedly joined the Spanish champions in the chase for the 23-year-old's services - but the midfielder insists he is going nowhere.
He told bild.de: "I feel very comfortable in Bremen and I am not thinking about my future.
"I have a contract for three years and there is no reason to leave."
