| I dont see much truth in the Johnson story, Benited has around 1000 midfielders already. He would be facing competition from Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Lucas, and Yossi Benayoun. It doesn't seem likely to me. Just papers trying to unsettle the young talent like they always do.
I am speaking with enormous optimism and hope!

| The Johnson/ Liverpool story has been doing the rounds for ages now. Its a heap of bollocks. Also, the press have failed to predict any of Sven's signings so far.

(Mail) I might be wrong, but I am sure when I saw Werder's starting line up for one game,Diego looked much smaller than the claimed 5ft 8. A good tricky player, but the Bundesliga is no real proving ground for players.

| Liverpool are being linked to every midfielder with two legs, SkySports are claiming that they are interested in paying £12million for Gareth Barry. I think we can safely take most of these rumours with a pinch of salt.
