Now I am in no way a fan of this band, but the gf loves them, so went to see them in Sheffield last night, so as to accompany her.

I feared a doomed night as soon as the support band came on... Fuckin' Rooney!!!!! (the actual name of them!)

However, I was politely surprised when GC wasn't actually a bad gig!

Despite having some fat fuck jump right on my ankle, taking an elbow to the ribs and a kick to the back of the leg (I can't actually move this morning!) It was a really good gig, they really made the effort to interact with the crowd.

To top the night off, I caught the Bassist's sweaty towel for the missus... She now hearts me even more!

This is a sign of old age Gibbi.  Your next gig should be a quiet one.  Maybe James Blunt or Norah Jones.

Please tell me your joking I can't stand either of them.

My next gig is MGMT (doesn't stand for anything) at the Academy. 20th May.

MGMT stands for "Gibbi is getting old and is trying too hard to listen to hip new bands."

Admit your age and get out your pipe and slippers and listen to the soothing sounds of James Last.
