Fuck!!  Looks like there's some truth in all this, check out the Beeb. "We will look at it at the end of the season and assess the club and the people involved." That doesn't mean he is looking to change, just to assess where we are and how we are doing. The press are doing their utmost to cause unrest and will jump on anything at all which could be construed as negative. However, to stop this speculation Thaksin needs to come out and and say what his intentions are. Yup, Frank seems to be sending out mixed messages, Last week we were on track and he and Sven were planning for the summer, this week he's unhappy with the way things are going and changes may have to be made. He goes on to talk about changes in the playing staff which is what we want to hear. I think, like us, he is disappointed with our slump in form but must overall be pleased with our progression. From the manager yeah, not the chairman/owner any other director or boardroom member.

Unless things are going on behind the scenes with Sven behaving in a way that might bring the club into disrepute, which i very much doubt, there is no reason to sack him. Unless he was replaced by Mourinho then i would seriously doubt that Thaksin was good for the club. Sven's done a superb job, sure the latter half of the season ha been disapointing, but as you say, that is in comparison to the first half. I hope this is all crap, but Thaksins refusal to deny it speaks volumes. Probably Sven slept with Thaksin's wife. Worse he could have slept with one of Thaksin's daughters In the worst case he slept with all of them and one of the daughters wore Vassell's jersey. No surprise that Thaksin wants a new coach.

| | I wasn't gonna comment on any of this crap till i heard anything kind of concrete but listening to the Radio earlier they reported that Frank is upset by our second end of the season form and that Talks may happen and Scolaris name was mentioned. fair Do's if this was how we played at the start of the season then maybe yes i wouldn't be happy either, we surley wouldn't be in the top half of the table, but given we ain't dropped out of the top half all season i'd say overall it's a job reasonably done and We keep Sven and see what players he can attract for next season then see how it goes from there. |

| It'll cost the club the thick end of £12m to dump Sven. Given that Frank still hasn't got his money back, that's a sizable hole in the clubs finances.

I am surprised that all of the sudden Thaksin has all the money to dump Sven and get Scolari and Ronaldinho. So if he really has the money available and is willing to invest it in Manchester City this would be the real news. Sven or Scolari is secondary
