you should trust the papers because if they say the truth City can only win. On the one hand who have next season Sven, Diego .... or you have Scolari and Ronaldinho...... You seem to be suggesting that Sven and Diego is the worst of those options? No, no it's not. Replacing Sven would be a disaster., for anyone. We don't the disruption after a good season.

it could be worse when to have these two options
But neither of those are realistic options. We won't sign Ronaldinho and we won't sign Diego and hopefully Thaksin won't fire Sven because his replacement is unlikely to do better. The simple truth is that the papers love to stir up trouble and some people like to give it an extra big stir for fun.
The article in the papers is as pointless as this thread.

| Update---City Line Up Scolari As Sven ReplacementManchester City are reportedly lining up Big Phil Scolari as a potential replacement for Sven-Goran Eriksson in case the Swedish manager quits at Eastlands this summer.Media reports in Italy claim that Eriksson is a wanted man with Juventus being linked. City’s Thai owner Thaksin Shinawatra is also reportedly unhappy with the way the club have slumped from third in the table to eighth and struggling to even qualify for the Uefa Cup. Eriksson is coming under increasing pressure and could well be tempted to jump ship if the right offer comes from Italy. Manchester City therefore are looking to plan for such an eventuality and have earmarked Scolari as the man they would want to bring to Eastlands. Sources in Portugal say the Brazilian will quit international management after Euro 2008 for a return to club football, and Scolari has always said he wanted to experience the Premier League before the end of his career. Coincidentally, Scolari was the man the English FA wanted to replace Eriksson when he left his post as national team manager, before Steve McClaren was eventually hired. |

It's in one of the papers today. Surely it's just press bollocks though. It's hard to tell, because the relationship between Thaksin and Sven not in good shape at the moment. |

unfortunately no press bollocks. on the bright side Sven and Thaksin supposedly argued about to buy Diego (Sven wants him) or Ronaldinho (Thaksin wants him and not Diego) so there seems to be money available in the summer. kind of the truth.. |

People keep saying that, but surely you are getting this from the papers. Unless you actually know Sven or Thaksin then this is all speculation and nothing more.

you should trust the papers because if they say the truth City can only win. On the one hand who have next season Sven, Diego .... or you have Scolari and Ronaldinho...... Agree, now all the sudden we will find ourselves in new shape (manger, new signing). |

Agree, but I think Diego is not a bad option at all. |
