| I'm off to Tool tonight. Mastodon are supporting. I'm just wondering if the building will still be standing at the end of the night.

| That'll be a mint gig. Tool will have to go some to be better than Mastodon IMO.
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| I saw Tool when they supported Queens Of The Stoneage *Bows down to pay homage to Rock genius* at the Tivoli in Buckley a few years ago. AWESOME!

| What a fucking show! Tool rule the universe. I was sitting in the balcony with OAPs and looking down on devestation below I was very glad. They played for just under two hours - great sound, great visuals. I'd say they are as good a live band as Pink Floyd. Mastodon were good too but they couldn't touch Tool.

| | I don't know this band but I can't pretend I'm impressed by the name. What kind of a name is Tool? I don't get it at all.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

I don't know this band but I can't pretend I'm impressed by the name. What kind of a name is Tool? I don't get it at all. Now if they inserted the word 'Power' before the Tool, I'd be interested.

You're showing your age Cloudy! I think the name is deliberately unpleasant. Top band though.
