| | QPR are 14th in the championship. If my maths are correct they are possible play off contenders and possible relegation candidates.

I would never doubt your grasp of mathematics, Bert. The Championship has always been a better league than the Premiership. Obviously I'd sooner be in the Prem with quality players, but the most competitive footie is always lower down.

More competitive maybe, but with far less quality. Chances of staying up don't look good for any of the promotion candidates.

| Whoever comes up this season is going straight back where they came from. they could all beat one another, and in the past the teams that usually tend to do well in the prem are the clubs that have been a country mile ahead of the rest of the division like reading and Wigan.
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort That they better start assembling the boys from the fort. And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight, 'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight. |

My boss is a Stoke fan and he's terrified of promotion as he reckons that Stoke would be the new Derby County, only worse. He's hoping for a bit of a slip-up leading to a third-place finish, a day out at Wembley in the play-offs and ultimately, a glorious failure.

I think West Brom might be just ok, because they play football and score goals. Hull could survive if they spent money, but depends who they could sign. Watford would be as bad as last time, Stoke maybe the new Derby. Palace if they got up via the playoffs would go straight back. Bristol city would probably go back despite playing decent football, or could they be the new Reading??
