So, Pompey, Fulham at home, Liverpool, Boro away. What do you think? I think we may get 5 points. End up on 57, either 8th or 9th...

Edit: Looking at Blackburn's run in I'm going to go for 8th.

Depending on Pompeys result today we might be able to nick 7th from them. It will be extremely tough though, and we'd need to get 10 points from the last 4 I'd say. If we did that we might even nick 6th above Pompey Blackburn and Villa.

Optimism, don't knock it.

I'm going for us to beat Pompey and Fulham, possibly derail Liverpool's hopes of 4th and get fuck all at Boro.

7/9 points to finish on 59/61 and back door entry (hur-hur) into Europe.....

I hope to God Pompey play as shit against us as they are atm against Newcastle. Truly awful. Defoe is dangerous though. About the only decent thing you can say about Pompey.

I think Richards is aiming to be back for Pompey although sven thinks it's more likely liverpool. Which means it's prolly fulham. Then there's Bojinov, he could get a game or two. So, adding all that into the equation... I've no idea what it means. No, actually, I know exactly what it means. It means 9 possibly 10 points. Which if nobody above us wins another game, we finish 5th and I win my bet. woohoo!!  I'm not giving up hope till it's mathematically impossible. Sven would agree.

A quick run-down of people's fixtures:

Portsmouth (6th, 57pts):- City, Blackburn, Boro, Fulham
Villa (7th, 55pts):- Brum City, Everton, Wigan, West Ham
Ourselves (8th, 52pts):- Portsmouth, Fulham, Liverpool, Boro
Blackburn (9th, 51pts):- Rags, Portsmouth, Derby, Brum City

If we assume Portsmouth win the FA Cup, that means the Intertoto is between Villa, us and Blackburn. I reckon we can have Blackburn, but we need Villa to cock up at least one of their games.
If we beat Portsmouth I think we've got a chance, but if not we're relying on either Villa messing up or getting a fair play place.

Yeah-I think we'll be above Blackburn and behind Villa and Pompey.

Going into the Sunderland game I thought we'd be looking at a maximum of 3 points from the last 5 games. Think we'll maybe get a point against Pompey and spank Fulham
