You're spot on ESM, our strikers are letting the whole team down.

How many chances do they need FFS. If we carry on like this, the board will be forced to start shopping at Marks and Sparks and ditch the Netto we've been shopping at!

A striker HAS to be top of SP's shopping list in January, unless things change with Vass back fully fit.

There was a rumour in the Observer yesterday that we're going to offer PSV £7mill for Farfan in Jan.

Seven million ? no fecking chance

That's what I thought when I read it. Don't even know that much about Farfan.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

More chance of me shitting a pigeon out of my arse. Unless Pearce starts starting with Samaras and he starts scoring (which he will because he is quality) then the board won't risk another 7 mil.

I'd like to see Sam'sarse in for Dickov alongside Corradi. Unorthodox, but worth a try imo.

Funny that when we signed Corradi there was a little discontent that another striker was uncalled for, and it was the midfield that needed attention. Oh for another quality striker....

Thats cos some of us still wanted SP to keep faith in Samaras!

With more creativity in midfield the quality of the chances we create would be so much better i.e. unmissable, even for our strikers!

Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking when I hear the silly things that you say

I think the starting pair up front against Chesterfield will be Samras and Sturridge.

I also think we may well  see a strong side fielded.I know that historically we have struggled against sides from lower devisions but IOM we should treat the game as an opportunity to get the strikers scoring or at least finish a game comfortably. We have forgotten what that feels like.If we do,put out a strong side, and it doesn't happen on Weds then that would be a real worry.

PB more irritating than Cilit Bang and Bassman.

Samaras has to start. I don't think Corradi is good enough to start. He has the potential to change a game that we are chasing because of his physical presence and his err...ability in the air, but he doesn't look as if he is even close to scoring a goal.

Samaras and Sturridge in the Carling Cup. It's the best place to see what he's like as a first team player.

We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars

Fantastic quote for your signature. Almost as good as the banner at city..."play like we dream"...you know the one. If i was a city player and i looked at that banner i would get goosebumps and it would ass another 100% to my game. Obviously not for our players though.
