| SP has got to get this right sharpish. We can't keep playing as we did in the first half yesterday without converting our chances. He keeps starting with Dickov and Corradi and it just ain't working, surely it's time to give Samaras a start, and Vass can't come back soon enough IMO.

| I think (OK, hope!) that Dickov played yesterday because it was his old club and Samaras will now get his chance.

I'd like to see Sam'sarse in for Dickov alongside Corradi. Unorthodox, but worth a try imo.Funny that when we signed Corradi there was a little discontent that another striker was uncalled for, and it was the midfield that needed attention. Oh for another quality striker....

There was a rumour in the Observer yesterday that we're going to offer PSV £7mill for Farfan in Jan.

| | To be honest both Corradi & Dickov have been rubbish this season. They have never looked like scoring. With options available they would both have been dropped long ago. Personally I would like him to start with Samaras and Sturridge next game. They have had their chance 5 starts and 0 goals between them if we dont start getting results soon we really will be in the s***. I agree we have to bring in a proven striker in January, going to be difficuly though with no money and teams dont want to let their best players go mid season. |
