I know what this thread needs. RIP Dimebag

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

I think I'm going to listen to "Cowboys from Hell" in a bit.

Right. Even if you are not a fan of metal. Have a look at this gig. One of my fave ever rock moments, this song, this band, this show in Russia. Probably Pantera's best tune ever.

Tune Danielsan. I was a MASSIVE Pantera fan as a teenager. Still got a real soft spot for them.

Yeah *sighs* me too, such a Pantera fan. Before Phil became...whatever it is we are left with today, and Dime was killed, dammit.

They were my number 1 for years there...still listen to them now all the time, when I gym/jog in fact.

The Cowboys and Vulgar Display tour, what you had right there was 4 amigos at the very TOP of their game, they were unstoppable, they were out to amaze people with what they could do and people were in awe. They raised the standard on live performances to way the fuck high. I will always remember the amount of HEART I had for them. Great memories, marvelous band.
