Nice. I'm suspecting a couple of cheeky sherbets before the shows...Dunphy gets a dig at Brady for missing the editorial meeting. Brady was chairing a press conferance announcing the ROI squad yesterday afternoon. There was one show at the Japan/ S Korea World Cup where Dunphy arrived for an early morning kick-off straight from a nightclub. He could hardly talk and was slipping in his seat under the desk. He was sent home before halftime.

When Souness first appeared he was fairly hostile to Dunphy (Dunphy had slagged his record as manager of Newcastle and Blackburn). On a panel consisting of himself, Dunphy, John Giles and Liam Brady, Souness would often start sentances with the phrase, "World class players like myself, John and Liam would know......".
