On telly here doing a "breath holding while underwater" type stung (he prolly has a better name for it tbf).

8 and a half minutes is the mark, which is kind of impressive.  Better still though was him doing loads of close up magic in the programme.  I heart close up magic.

His street magic is unrivalled, but his big stunts (living in a box, standing on a plinth etc) kinda weird me out. He tries too hard sometimes. And when he did that eye shizzle... that freaked me out too! The only picture of it is really tiny, but i think you'll know the one I mean

It's quite a career choice to take on isnt it? Amazing stuff. Need to be quite a showman really wouldnt you, and back yourself. I'm not gonna do it. I recently read 'The Secret Life of Houdini' complete with pictures and was in awe. He was an international superstar of the biggest kind. Here's another fact: Harry Houdini made the first controlled, powered flight of an airplane in Australia. Not first ever, but the first on Australian soil. He hearted aviation.

Blah blah, personal achievement is more important than seconds on the clock, blah blah.  No it's fooking not.  Timewaster.  Derren Brown would have done it.

Thought Derren Brown was more, like, hypontist, sorta person, controlling other people's minds, rather than personal achievement.

I dunno! lol
