I'm not sure how he would fit into the team, who could you leave out!!?!?!?!??!

Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.

i was being sarky  For me, the way they've been playing since christmas, you could leave the lot of em out, and start again.

I wasn't  - for the 'best passer of the ball in the club' his distribution is too often either woeful or way too elaborate

Eriksson welcomes Ronaldinho link

Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho is likely to miss the rest of the season through injury

Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson would love owner Thaksin Shinawatra to buy Brazil and Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho.

The 28-year-old is said to be unhappy at Barca and could leave in the summer.

His brother and representative Roberto De Assis were entertained by Manchester City directors on Saturday and they hope to tempt the forward to the club.

"It was the first time I had heard such a thing, so I really hope it is true," said Eriksson.

"We would be able to find a place in our team for him, I can guarantee that.

"I will phone the owners. It was a surprise but if they want to package Ronaldinho for me I would accept him and be very happy."

Ronaldinho, who has had an inconsistent season, is currently injured and is set to miss the remainder of Barcelona's campaign.

AC Milan and Chelsea have also been linked to the Brazilian.

The key is, if he wants to join.  Don't think cash would be a problem now.

I thought he was older tbh, 28 aint all that bad, that's probably where for a midfielder they're at their peak. he'd draw a good crowd.

Don't make me start believeing there is even a chance this will happen.

I'm not so much thinking of the money aspect, but I would have thought that AC and Chelsea are more attractive in terms of offering European football. But then again looking at the Italian table AC are 5th, so that's hardly guaranteed I guess...

This is not to say that I wouldn't wet myself in joy if we did sign him, I just think the odds are not good.
