Come off it man. As great as Messi is at dribbling (and he is great) there is more to a footballer.
Messi hasnt got anywhere near the vision and passing ability as Ronaldinho. Both Ronaldinho and Zidane are/were the most gifted 2 players in the last 20 years because they arnt/werent 1 dimensional.
Comparing George Weah , someone way into his 30's and past his best, to Ronaldinho is silly
PS. I dont see how anyone can say he has been bad for 2 years. Last season he scored 21 in 35 appearances. This ,injury plagued,season 8 in 17 (a better goal ratio than Messi) . Certainly goals arnt everything, but its a decent indication, especially for a player who is creative. |

looks like toothy's agents are starting to pimp the boy around to anyone thats interested Tottenham and Manchester City have been sounded out about signing Brazil superstar Ronaldinho after his move to AC Milan collapsed. (Daily Mirror) Maybe/maybe not. Don't think they will have anything to substantiate this but that doesn't mean they haven't guessed right. Eventually they will get one right and then tell everybody "heard it here first". |
