Only City fans could moan about possibly signing Ronal-fuckin-dinho !!!

Jeez, He's the most gifted player on the freakin planet!. This aint some Robbie Fowler or Steve Mcpointalot lol

Exactly!

I dont think it will happen but I hope it does.

Sure he hasnt been at his consistent best for 12-18 monthes (some of it down to injury of course) but I doubt its not all down to his supposed lifestyle (did he just suddenly discover drink and dancefloors a year ago? lol). I know for certain, however, that 1 season doesnt make and it certainly doesnt break a player, especially the best player of his generation!

Not only is signing Ronaldinho good for his attacking prowess but it is also a nail on plus for the club in general. The money generated from his signing would end up paying for his transfer fee by itself. The club's global stature will be the biggest it has been for a long long time , probably ever, and it all leads to other top quality players joining us. His presence would probably help Elano rediscover his best form aswell.

Even if we got a 75% Ronaldinho , he'd still be the best player to ever grace the blue shirt. Its just whether he could live with the premiership (seeing him destroy Chelsea a couple of years ago , I dont think he'd have a problem).

So, yea, I hope he does join us. I cant see it happening tho. Lets hope he remembers the reception we gave him in the friendly, against Barca, a few years back

Remember when Ronaldinho originally went to Barcelona? Okay, they were better than we are now, but they weren't exactly a major force in football, and he chose them over some higher profile clubs because they promised to build a team around him. And it turned out to be a great decision.

Having said that, I can't see this happening. Hope it does though. He's not just some skillful airy fairy player. He has a lot of stength and has no problem holding the ball up against physical opponents. I don't reckon he'd have a problem in the premiership.

I'd love it to be true, but in reality it's not going to happen.  He'll want a lengthy contract and monster salary way outside our pay structure and he'll be looking to play Champions League football next year.  He could be more expensive than his worth to the team.

City will have to bring in players who are happy to know they won't be playing in the Champions League and will have to be part of a team that is in it's building stages with a manage who by all accounts isn't that secure in his job.  Bringing players to City won't be easy int he summer, as we saw in January.

C.T.I.D. (then some)

No he isnt, its Messi, I would love to be proved wrong about him, but the signs are not good.

May I remind People of George Weah, also a former footballer of the year !! He was great right?
