Bert Trautmanns neck brace (07/04/2008)
Benny explains it well.

In another post you-Slart - said "I want to bring my niece to the pictures".

You should take her to the pictures.

Unless you are already at the pctures then you would have her brought to you.

After the pictures you would take her home.

*is proud*

I love that you let the typo go but not the mistake.

The only one that irks me is 'would of', the rest don't bother, but that's probably cuz I'm the one liable to make them. Specially 'its'.

When it should be 'would have'? Okay Jeebus. Are you likely to apologise for what you did in the other thread?

What, that pic? I know, I don't know what I was thinking. Shall I do it here or over there?

I was actually coming to this thread anyway to ask, when you quote a question, is it "blah?" or "blah"?

Yeah, thats the way I'd do it, but I've seen it done both ways. Plus I've read the british use one way and americans the other, but I can't remember which way round it was.

In fact, the more I think about this, the less I realise I know. I shoulda paid more attention in school.
