| slart (03/04/2008) I thought their early albums were patchy but good fun. The first song I heard was Fight Like a Brave and tbh I wasn't overwhelmed. I was blown away by BSSM and Mothers Milk. Great Live band.
Their more recent albums are saner and more mainstream but I still love them.
Anyone like One Hot Minute? Now that was weird!
That's the album with Dave Navarro on. My favourite guitarist btw. Didn't really work that well. Couple of decent tunes though. Coffee Shop was alright I seem to remember.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Half Bassman Half Biscuit (03/04/2008)
'Especially in Michigan' by the Chili's. Had the tune on repeat about 6 times now. Fruciante's guitar parts are fookin awesome. Bet you didn't need to know that. Fucking shite tune that Bassman. Generic bullshit. I like it, and i don't care if you do or not. And it's a fantastic tune.
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort That they better start assembling the boys from the fort. And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight, 'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight. |

We Believe, Snow, Desecration Smile and Animal Bar are all better songs. Desecration Smile especially...

Hey oh is cool, fantastic bassline on it. There are a couple of songs that i like that are very understated, mostly on disc 2.

I don't know a lot their stuff at all, as they just don't appeal to me and so i won't buy their music or listen to them. However, i did hear some of this song the other day on one of the music channels, and i began to reassess my opinion and thought hey, maybe i could like them. Then the second verse started and i realised that actually i had just bored myself stupid by listening to it. I'd rather knaw your foot off Bassy than allow RHCP a place among my collection.
