A look at some other footballing cities around the world, notice this;

Barcelona FC (red and blue) and the Espanyol (blue shirt)

Bayern Munich (red) and 1860 Munchen (blue)

Real Madrid and Getafe (blue)

AS Roma and SS Roma (blue)

Liverpool and Everton

Now I am not saying it's a spooky coincidence but it is atleast a little bizarre that the red shirt of each city have had more success than it's blue counterpart. Why?

I did see a program sometime ago that colours have a psychologically effect on how a person performs. One example they showed was a guy in an all red room powerlifted a lot more than the same guy when in a pink room. So, write it off as rubbish if you like but just thought I'd toss it in there for discussion.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Newspapers.

The thought of powerlifting in a pink room?

Just wrong imo.

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

Malmö FF are having similar colors like you have and they are more successful than their main rival Helsingborg, but they lost the derby last week.

Malmö lost the European Cup final against Nottingham Forest 1979 and they are red?

I think they have room for another couple of sponsors there...

Bristol City and Bristol Rovers...spooky

Sheffield United and Sheff Wed (in recent years!!)

Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.
