It is not a surprise.
He was ref at northampton vs forest game 2 weeks ago was shocking. He was the worst referee we have ever had the mis-fortunte to see on the sixfieds turf. The sending off for the forest guy and the pen he gave for forest had everyone in total dis-belief.
Everyone remembers that off the ball pen he gave at anfield during that liverpool vs arsenal game .. well that sums him up.
It is about time he is relegated to conference and learns to referee again. The FA need to look at his 'suitabilty'. It always seems to want to get himself as centre of attension of a game and not the game itself.
Ive heard sky sports and bbc radio 5 saying quotes from 'he should never referee again (sky sports) to "his is having a shocking game and gave that decison to even it up" (bbc)
I feel sorry for everybody and players at Birmingham game today. We feel for you all.
PS - Personally having that clown turn up at a conference game may be deemed offensive to the conference!

Rob Styles, huh? I remember him refereeing Eintracht Frankfurt v Brondby in the UEFA Cup in 2006. He was bloody awful and an embarrassment then.
So what are your thoughts on his performance today.

| | Was never a penalty against Sun, it reminded a bit of the Distin Ronaldo one a few weeks ago, shoulder to shoulder nothing in it, whether the Ref had a bad game or not it still doesn't hide the fact that we were absoloute shite and deserved to get beat. |

| Sven should make a bit deal out of it, Rafa Benitez did it when chelsea robbed them malouda and can't remember who else, but if he makes a big deal the press will get behind him and the fa will have to act, I would be pissed off one of his decisions cost us the game but in truth we were poor and didn't deserve anything anyway, although if he's not punished he could cost a team the league or their league status and a mamnager his job. Can't we recruit refs from abroad in the prem we recriut the best everything players, coaches and managers, why not refs?
