Hamanns worst game in a city shirt, defence looked disjointed.....why jihai who had a long trip from china and not corluka who played in scotland mid week? I thought we lacked passion, direction and only looked good when they were down to 10 men...we sorely miss the creativity of petrov, castillo and johnson......this looked like a pearce team not an erikkson....this was worse than the chelsea thrashing...very very poor. Sven please listen to everyone when they say go 4-4-2 Team v Chelsea (providing all fit should be) HART CORLUKA DUNNE NED BALL ELANO GELSON JOHNSON PETROV BENJANI CASTILLO BENCH:STURRIDGE, GARRIDO, GEOVANNI, VASSELL, ISAKKSON Best team we could hope for and formation, Would be very suprised to see it though. It will be 4 5 1 no creativity no goals and trying to keep them down to as many as possible, which is fair I supose, against bolton and birmingham its pathetic though and 1 point from them games has pretty much ened our european hopes.
bring back SWP! |

| I gave up going to a party with lots of drunk girls looking for a shag to watch city tonight, and boy am i happy with my decision to stay home. We were insipid and looked like we didnt give a fuck about the result, ref was shit but didnt cost us the game, WE cost us the game and why oh why would you start sun jihaii ahead of corluka? dunne looke terrible and needs micha back quick smart. Ireland was shit but wasnt alone. Gelsen played well, and geo did more in 10 mins than most of the boys did in 90. Bring back mpenza atleast we were winning games with him upfront becasue benjy doesnt look like scoring anytime soon. Where was petrov? Elano played average but showed glimpes. Onuoha was solid. Hamman was slow as usual but stil a important player for us. Sun Jihai needs to be thankful if he ever gets another game...... Who else....... Caicedo was ok apart from his diving atleast he isnt afraid to take the game to the opposition. Garrido was ok by his standards. Vass did fuck all. and hart was good. Hopefully next week he goes 4-4-2 with mpenza and caicedo but i wont be holding my breath, Chelsea aside, probably our worst performance of the year that ive seen. Rant Over

| | Shit game i'm so sick of not being able to put away crap teams. Maybe thats part and parcel of being a city fan. Defensively we were static and Dunne had a slight off day but hey after his great season one or two bad games are understandable. Garrido on the other hand; i just dont think he is ready to defend yet, he really struggled, maybe another year or two...he's still young. Thought Elano at least looked pretty good today though, and also I dont know why theres so much shit being said about Caicedo, at least when he came on he looked to want the ball and showed some good skill bar dive. I definitely prefer him to Sturridge. And to the fools bitching about Sven...wow...just wow. To think i came home early from a mad party for this game *sighs*

| | The Ref had nowt to do with the result yesterday - our striker not being able to hit a cows arse with a banjo when he's only the keeper to beat and our defence deciding to play blind mans bluff probably had something to do with it but what do I know - I can't afford to go to many games

I've just got back from the game. Rob styles where do I start? Fuck it I'd be goin on all night. But how the fuck can you give birmingham a pen when mcsheffery shoulder charges sun ji and falls on the floor? Caciedo played well when he came on he at least wanted the ball and was trying to make things happen. Same with Geo. Fernandes played very well again, he was our best player. Alot of awfull performences today Benjani(can't score or stay onside) Dunne was crap aswell, we all say richards would be fucked without dunne, but it's showing the other way round now. Agree with everything you say. Crap game, was on row 8 so got pissed wet through aswell! |

| | Bloody useless. Yes their penalty was a fucking joke, but we didn't deserve to win, it just made the score line look more one sided. That's 5 points dropped in the last two games against relegation threatened teams. On top of that the teams above and around us have dropped points so it really has been a opportunity lost.

| concurrance - these last two games are when teams with real hops of europe can take advantage of others slipping up - as it is whoever finishes seventh will probably get the Intertoto - I just hope it's not blackburn

No, if Pompey win the FA Cup and finish fifth, then intertoto goes to seventh, if hey don't win the FA Cup then it goes to sixth as i understand it
