another ref bannished to the championship, shit performance again and deserve to be behind, I,ve been saying for weeks sturridge should be in before caicedo, after his pathetic dives and performance I'd love someone to dispute that now, wheres castiloo, sturridge and why does hamman start, bet bianchi and co are pissing themselves.

What the fuck are all the people getting on Caceido's back for? Granted, i haven't seen today's game, he might have been appalling, but he's a young lad who has not yet completed two months in the country. What an earth are we expecting?

Why does Hamann start? Erm...because he's been one of the best players we've had all season. Why would he not start? His experience has been vital all season, and it's going to be even more so when we are on a bad run.

Hamman as an attacking force does not exist, he is slow and lazy and yes was shit today, he was really good at the start of the season but his age may have caught up with him. if you had botherd to watch the game you would see what i,m talking about with caicedo, he's been diving about everywhere and may be young and have potential but he shouldn't be in the team yet, wheras imo sturridge should

Don't start being a tit with shit like that. If i had been able to watch the game without downloading shit to my laptop i would have done, so start with that bollocks.

Second of all, a bad performance doesn't mean that we shouldn't be sticking with him. The lad clearly has talent. The statements that you've made have been unbelievable. i don't mean regarding today, because you may be right.

Haman isn't lazy, he is slow though. We know he's not an attacking force, you can't play a team of attacking players, we'd be shit on every week. He's there precisely for that reason.

we are been shit on every week though thats the point, i'm all for playing defensively when needs be but against birmingham mising their best 2 players its just fucking wrong. he shouldn't of played today end of, and I have never doubted caicedo has talent but he is not ready for the 1st team as was demonstrated today aswell as other games, how manys he scored again? oh right fucking none sturridge should be in their for now and caicedo should be in reserves learning english game.

bring back SWP!

okey Squidge.. maybe bad argue but every Hamann fan of this board makes Hamann sound like a fucking world class star superman player..

I saw Muamba in Birmingham, not near as good or high rated as nowaday average Viera, but a lot better then Hamann.. but then, it was first time I saw him though.

How many has he scored in the 20 minutes/occasional starts he's had in the two months he's spent in a foreign country? Well, statto, you are quite correct in saying this amounts to none.

If we are still challenging for champs league i'd agree with you, definitely. But we're not, so surely this is the time to let him learn the premier league? And then he's got a head start for next season.

Everyone knows best don't they when things go wrong? I trust we'll pick up form again, and come back better next season.

But we were challanging for uefa/intertoto so imo sturrdige should be ahead of caicedo in the pecking order, I think caicedo should of been kept in reserves and unleashed next season, nows theres fuck all play for he may aswell be allowed to learn as should castillo and hopefully we will have a much better team next year. statto made me chuckle btw

Good, no offence was meant. It just bugs me a bit when people don't show patience. Knocking new players isn't the way, we saw that with Samaras. I'm not saying he should be starting games, i can just see the reasons why he would and i trust Sven's judgement on such matters, he's shown that players off form won't get a start, but he will also stick by players, which after such a short period of time for Caceido, isn't unfair in my view.

Hamanns worst game in a city shirt, defence looked disjointed.....why jihai who had a long trip from china and not corluka who played in scotland mid week?

I thought we lacked passion, direction and only looked good when they were down to 10 men...we sorely miss the creativity of petrov, castillo and johnson......this looked like a pearce team not an erikkson....this was worse than the chelsea thrashing...very very poor.

Sven please listen to everyone when they say go 4-4-2

Team v Chelsea (providing all fit should be)

HART

CORLUKA DUNNE NED BALL

ELANO GELSON JOHNSON PETROV

BENJANI  CASTILLO

BENCH:STURRIDGE, GARRIDO, GEOVANNI, VASSELL, ISAKKSON

Cometh the man cometh the wig....

Wasn't just hamann, everyone had a bad day at the office, im just glad i hope we get that out of our system ahead of the Chelsea game, we can't play that shit again surely. if that was a top 4 side we would have been absoloutley shat on from a great height. I was gonna mention during the game that we have got at least 5 first teamers out but then it struck me that everyone apart from Garrido has played for their country whether it be senior team or U21. We really have to pick our game up in the last 6 games coz all our superb earlier form won't be remembered if we end in a whimper.

I've just got back from the game. Rob styles where do I start? Fuck it I'd be goin on all night. But how the fuck can you give birmingham a pen when mcsheffery shoulder charges sun ji and falls on the floor?

Caciedo played well when he came on he at least wanted the ball and was trying to make things happen. Same with Geo. Fernandes played very well again, he was our best player.

Alot of awfull performences today Benjani(can't score or stay onside) Dunne was crap aswell, we all say richards would be fucked without dunne, but it's showing the other way round now.

Interesting. It always looked a bit like that when he played without Distin too. Not taking anything from the guy though, he's not the only centre half who suffers when a regular partnership is broken up - C
