He's the best goalscorer we have.  I have always said that he'll come good.  He's still only a kid, so he'll do some good things, and some bad things.  Took both goals really well.

His first was a cracking strike.

he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

Two great left foot finishes. He is a genuine two footed player, always a big advantage since chances could fall to either foot.

I think we are definitely in need of another striker...a striker with pace an who can poach goals that can complement Samaras. Somebody like Martins would have been ideal, although a little pricey.

I thnk Vassel will compliment Samaras when he's fit.  He has the pace we currently lack.  Once Samaras has his confidence and gets a few starts on the trot I think we'll see a different guy - I only hope that we can soon get a steady pairing that Sp isn't scared to use away from the COMS.  I really hope he doesn't play just Samaras up front against Everton.

I mentioned this before - I think we could make offers for both Sidwell and Healey in January

Well, if Samaras is going to be our main goal scorer, like I believe he can be, then I think Corradi is a very good foil for him. He is a big lump, with a decent touch. He can take a lot of the attention away from George with his physical play.

Corradi seems to be getting quite a lot of stick, but I think he does a good job as a support striker, although he does have to start posing more of a goal threat than he currently is.

I like Corradi - he works very hard and has a decent touch  - ok he's no speedy Gonzalez but he does create havoc in the defence  - leaving space for Sam
