| [b] Although my friend does say he looks like Fredury Mercury, anyone else see that? My mum thinks so, she said when he came on the other day "oh freddy mercury is coming on". 'm sure she once started singing it's a kind of magic when he came on. Seriously though, i think he looks good...he looked like he could score on Monday, just needs the service now.

| Samaras has at least got a bit of unpredictableness about him rather than our other strikers who can only run in straight lines.

| didn't used to rate AJ, but having seen more of him this season, I think he is pretty nifty, although with him not taking penalties wonder if he gets as many goals as with Palace the other season.

| | I'm not sure if that many people don't like him. I certainly think that he is one of the most promising players at the club, he can shoot with both feet, has nice amounts of agility and vision and looks a bit like a model which can only be good for the revenue of the club (think teenage girl adulation......okay now stop thinking of it......stop iiiitttt!!!). Unfortunatley, I can only see him staying at the Blue Camp for a short amount of time. He'll cut his teeth here then probably leave (See: SWP). Shame really but is a good signing for the club all round, just wished SP knew how to use him..

| East Stand Massive (13/09/2006) IMO the money spent on Samaras would have certainly have bought us Johnson, and a bit more would have got us Ashton, both will score more goals than Samaras. East, Johnson cost £8million and Ashton cost £7.5million. In what way would our initial payment of £3million for Samaras have bought either of those two? Besides, I'm convinced he will be a good player. He is the only player I can get exited about a City these days. Most of the others are just workman like. Give the kid a break. You can't critisise him for the money you think Pearce spent on him, only to play him out or position this season.

| Yeah, love Samaras, can shoot with both feet, got some skill, agility and good vision. He's also got height and just needs to beef up a bit. I reckon once he's played as a centre forward rather than on the left he will thrive.

| jus watched the game on the chinese internet channles and he played outta his skin, whenever he got the ball he took aplayer on and then had to be taken down by a WH player, and his 2 goals were pure class! one was a strike that even the best strikers on the planet would be proud of and the 2nd was so cheeky brilliant ball from coraddi and a sweet finish even henry would be proud of!
its a must watch on MOTD or even better on the skysports1 show late on, really dominated the game was a pleasure to watch which makes a difference.

| Jhiai Suns Kuaizi (23/09/2006) The second half was all ours and I mean ALL ours we totally dominated.Good luck Sp can't wait for our next home match. So no different to the blackburn game, except we defended. Glad to see big sam get a couple, I think he lost a bit of confidence after his injury last season and he will be worth more than 6million in a few years!!

| Anyone who listens to me (so no-one) will know I've always liked Sam Harris, and yesterday proved my point that he's a striker who needs service and when he gets it he'll score. I also think he's very much a confidence player and yesterdays two goals will do him the world of good.
