ok given we spent abit of money on him but surley he's already scored enough goals to tide you over? 9/10 times when he gets the balls something promicing looks on the cards, which says more than alot of our players even monday night when he got the ball he looked like doing something with it. i think some of you give him too much of a hard time. he could use abit more stength from time to time, but i suppose moving from a gay (joking) leagues like the dutch will do that to you.

discuss.

i like him, think he will do some good work if he starts the games.

Although my friend does say he looks like Fredury Mercury, anyone else see that?

I think that unless he starts scoring regularly (it would help if he played regularly) then he is always going to have the £6m price tag hanging around his neck. That was a lot of money to spend for a club with precious little transfer funds and many feel the money could have been better invested in other areas

He does look promising but then so did BWP. It's results now we are in desperate need of, not two years down the line

How much do you think we would get for him if we were to sell him? About 1/3 of what we paid would be my guess

I like him and am thinking of having my hair cut like his.

Hello All,

I think he’s very promising, OK he’s not the finished article by any means, but he’s got something to offer.

I have to disagree with Noddy, you can’t compare him with BWP, BWP never looked good enough in the first team

Hi BS, I agree that he can bring something to the team.  People are perhaps concerned about how much he cost, and that is fair enough, but he has to be given a chance, his strike rate wasn't that bad last season.

I think Samaras is our only hope at the moment. Corradi at best is a 10 goal a season man (look at this stats, it's eerie), Dickov won't get you goals and neither will Vassell.

Leaving us Samaras who does seem to have the potential

Thing is, he's not going to score while sitting on the bench. Certainly he is due a proper run out.

Have to agree, missed the game the other night but Corradi has looked decent up to now and I wouldn't fancy playing the two of those together. Something needs to change though or we're in the mire
