Well I'm thrilled that Portishead are back.  Make sure you see Rufus Wainwright.  I saw him at Oxegen last year.  I was standing in a tent, knee deep in mud looking like a mudman from Falsh Gordon.  Rufus was in pristine white suit crooning A Chuisle Mo Chroí. What more could a festival punter want?

The new Portishead got one of the most effusive reviews I've ever read in this month's Uncut.

Picked up a copy of Uncut to read on the train home yesterday.  Didn't get past Led Zeppelin but clocked the five star review for Portishead.  Did you read the Mark E Smith interview?  I liked his answer to the £75M/ Chinese man falling off a bike question.

Moi aussi.  Though I feel I have missed out not having heard of "Pissed Jeans" before.

Good line-up that. You paying Cloudy?

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal
