Seems some players do take note of what is said about them on t'internet and can take it to heart.

Portsmouth forward Lomana LuaLua claims he may have to leave the Barclays Premiership club if fans continue to make him feel unwelcome.

The 25-year-old has had personal troubles in recent times, and his baby son died of pneumonia.

He has been upset to discover, though, that - far from supporting him - some fans appear to be out to make his life more difficult.

"I read newspapers and internet message boards, and a lot of what has been said about me has deeply affected me," he told The Sun.

"I do not deserve that, and my family do not deserve that.

"Nobody can question my loyalty to this club.

"I love playing for Pompey - but when my own fans have a go at me maybe it is time to move on and go to somewhere where I will be appreciated."

I wondered what was going on with him yesterday when the commentator said after he scored a goal that it was a "subdued celebration". I dont know whats been said but.... it would be interesting to know what it was thats upset him. Only then would I know if he was justified in spitting his dummy out or if he needs to be told to grow up.

At petrol station today I saw front page of The Sun which said that pompscum fans had been singing they were glad his kid has died etc.

That is hard to take, I dont care who you are. I've never been in this sort of situation but I doubt I could deal with that sort crud, in front of so-called supporters.

No excuse for this, wrong in so many ways.

Aye, this goes into the kinds of things that were said.  No matter what you think of a player, there's never any excuse for personal shit like this.  Some fans seem to forget at times that players are human.

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp believes the "sickos" who are allegedly making match-winner Lomana LuaLua's life a misery are not true fans.

The African striker kept a cool head to blast home an 88th-minute penalty and seal Pompey's 2-1 win over Watford at Fratton Park on Saturday - after earlier revealing "supporters" had posted internet messages accusing him of being lazy on the field, having a playboy lifestyle, being a wife-beater, and, worst of all, saying they were glad his baby son Jesus died earlier this year.

Redknapp said: "I didn't know anything about this. Lua hasn't told me about it, nobody has told me about it.

"But who would say a thing like that, I'm glad your baby is dead?

"There are always a few sickos about but they are not Portsmouth supporters, just a couple of sickos, probably, who go on websites.

"I didn't know Lua was having these problems. This is the first I have heard of it but he's been a good player for Portsmouth, got back in the team and played well last week after Benjani had been keeping him out.

"He has done well again to take the penalty against Watford and I can't see this being a big problem."

LuaLua lost his six-month old son in January to pneumonia while away on international duty with his country and was arrested, and released without charge, after a domestic incident involving his fiancee only last month.

Yeah, thats pretty bad. I think I would have spit my dummy out too. But then, you cant really hold a whole clubs fans responsible for what a few people write on a fans forum. That doesn't represent the fans as a whole. Now... if it was a chant being sung by the fans at a game, that would be something to walk away from the club for.

If it was a few people on a forum, they could find out who they were. Unless they were using a proxy that is.

I clicked in a site the other day and to show how much info you leave every time you visit a site, right at the top of the page it said "your IP address is blah blah blah, your ISP is such a thing, you're using this version of windows and you're using this version of internet explorer".

All the info was right. Now, I know a lot of you wont be surprised that you leave this info everywhere you visit on the net. But to the people who think you're anonymous on the net, you're not. Unless (like I said) you use a proxy.

Just in case you're wondering which link I clicked that showed this info, it was http://www.smileygenerator.us/alienabductions/
