[b]... Good all round performance and only really Reyna who was a bit like the invisible man, everyone else played out of there skins. ...

I can't agree with that. He made a great tackle that set of the second goal, that's got to constitute "visibility".

I'm not saying he's "the answer", but you have to acknowledge fair work.

It was clearly a foul. Would have like to have seen Ireland replace him for the last 20 minutes

In the tv replays he touches the ball, its a contact sport, so no foul.

It was certainly a close one, seen them given as a foul and obviously pleased this one wasn't!

But, that wasn't all Reyna did, if you watch the highlights on Football First, Reyna does his fair share of things and had a good game.

Some people, like 'L.O.T.S.' just don't like him, so will never, ever acknowledge that he had a good game.

i think Reyna did ok on saturday but only cos he managed a full 90 minutes without getting injured but that centre midfield is supposed to be the engine room and reyna has not got it in him anymore to play the kind of regular role we need by the side of Barton. Also I am willing to praise any City player i feel has played well and after watching the fulham game i didnt think Reyna did aything other than ok but thats only my opinion, take it or leave it.

Good result all round  - everybody played well  - Samaras still needs to be told that defence starts from the front and he needs to chase the full backs

Pearce and Wigley were going nuts at him just before he was subbed

So which is it, did he play OK, or was he like the invisible man? Big difference.

Your opinion is fine, as long as it's based on facts. Most other people on here think Reyna played well, or at least OK. Your first post stated that he was like the invisible man. I guess maybe Reyna does do some of the jobs other players don't and sometime people don't notice it.

Check it out sometimes. When we are stretched, check out who runs back to clear the lines, or drops back to fill in when we lose the ball when the defence is light. Reyna does all those things and more, just because he doesn't always play the magic ball (like Barton tries to!) doesn't mean he had a bad game. It really annoys me when Reyna has one bad pass and people get on his back, but if someone else does it, it's not a problem. Disgrace.

Reyna is a good, intelligent and honest player. He is however coming to the end of his career and I for one wish we had him 5 years ago. Maybe it is time for Dabo, or another to play alongside Barton, but that doesn't mean that Reyna is bad.

I must agree that it would have been nice to see Ireland get  a run out in the last twenty minutes or so. When was the last time he got on the pitch?

Think it was Everton away earlier in the season.
