| if someone would have said to me before the match that we would lose our no goals at eastlands but score 3 i would have snapped their hands off. Good all round performance and only really Reyna who was a bit like the invisible man, everyone else played out of there skins. Corradi for MoM for me. Oh and i wonder if this will herald a rare visit from Bex_FFC?

| It'll do for me! The record was always going to go at some point and the 3 points are far more important. I'll happily trade conceding a solitary goal for managing to score 3

Its such a relief to get more than one goal in a game. To have got three, i'm feeling quite light headed. I hope it wasn't a dream. I better not wake up in a minute.

| | Well done City. There are a few issues that could still be looked at, but it's so much better to be able to view with 3 points in the bag. Well done Corradi, two well taken goals and celebration of the season. Joey's goal was well taken. I don't think anybody really stood out today, mor a collection of good performances, rather than one star...but that suits me fine! However, if i was to pick a man of the match i would go for Trabelsi, really impressed with him.

I thought even Reyna had one of his better games today. His tackle set up one of Corradi's goals I seem to remember.

| [b]... Good all round performance and only really Reyna who was a bit like the invisible man, everyone else played out of there skins. ... I can't agree with that. He made a great tackle that set of the second goal, that's got to constitute "visibility". I'm not saying he's "the answer", but you have to acknowledge fair work. |

| | Reyna did well yesterday as did the rest of the team. Our major problem this year and last has been that players have been playing out of position. The only one yesterday was Vassell who luckily has got the speed and the experience to play as a wide player. We've now got two who are naturals, Miller and Beasley, for that left midfield slot which up to now has been filled by anybody who fancied a go, and an adequate replacement in Vassell and at a push C5 who unfortunately seems to be getting slower by the day. The ultimate optimist in me says it is slowly coming together, I hope I'm right. We are building a squad with cover in most positions, we haven't got a Sheva or Ballack to cover him but you can't get them with our Tesco Clubcard. A period free of injuries and a couple of good results will let us progress. 0-0 at Liverpool next week, any takers.
If at first you don't succeed pull your foreskin over your heed. |
