On the subject of Dunne , let the papers worry about the contract talks ,they've got space to fill after all , but it wasnt long ago the papers were saying Micah wont sign hes holding out for more money he will be gone in the summer etc , and how wrong they were .
As for Elano , how fickle can some of you be? form is temporary class is permanent . If you dont think Elano can add to the city team you must be crazy .The term I was groping for since the start of this thread. Nice one. True, on top form one of the best players city have ever had. But for some reason some are not happy he can't magically do it every game on his own(seeing as thou city have gone of the boil for 3 months doesn't help) and wouldn't be bothered if he left. You just couldn't make it up. |

| | Can i just clear up, so i don't get branded as not knowing what i'm talking about, it's not a case of me wanting him out, but for a price i'd let him go. He's not so good that he is irreplacable. He is clearly a talented player, but he has underwhelmed me a lot. I would rather he stayed and showed that form again, but three games of pure class and the rest of the season being average or less than average isn't good form. He can be a good player, and i accept all these points about Drogba etc, and when we have more quality players he can play his game, but if he goes i won't lose any sleep. That's all.

Its great to have quality players, but not at the cost of the team. I feel the likes of Benjani Dont get enough support from Elano/Ireland and would far rather see a 4-4-2, especially against teams who are in the bottom half of the table. The post christmas form has been poor in general, with the derby and Spuds the only highlight really. We serverely lack a decent RM/RW to only play one up front, with no support half the time. Im not saying I want Elano or Dunne to go, but I share ESM's sentiments.
