Is it not too soon for this? He has played 20 matches = 5 goals. That is a way respectable stat.
He has shown it before, that form will return.

Exactly - plus he had like 2 games in six months with his previous club and has been injured a lot - I'm a big fan - he'll come good next season - I can remember a load of rags slagging off lady boy in his first season

| Elano's form will return. IF he puts the effort in, and IF he's committed to city, and IF we show faith in him. and IF we add the right players to play along side him. Is that too many if's?
Yes, all right.. Christ Almighty! It's like walking down a corridor and answering the door in Nazi Germany! |

We'll see, maybe the shot across his bows by Sven at the weekend has made the penny drop. No matter who you are, or how good you 'can' be, you will only be picked for the starting 11 on form and form alone.

| apparently the message was received loud and clear - I think the players should get the message in the way that Bianchi was shipped out - If you aren't happy or get 'mistranslated' by your native press - your out

| | I think it's way too soon to be judging Elano, as it was Bianchi. Dunne is good enough to get us into Europe, but if we want to reach the top 4 I think his time will be up. On the subject of players lumping it forward rather than playing out from the back, I think Hart is way too slow releasing the ball to our defence, which means he either gives it to a man under pressure or more oft than not he lumps it forward which is sommat Sven has urged him not to do. Hart is probably a better all round keeper than Kasper or Issakson, but in this department he could learn something from both of them.

It's too early for an Elano out campaign, i don't want to sound like dear Doctor Who, but i would be losing sleep if he was sold. Of course i'd rather he stayed and improved within the team, but it wouldn't bother me if he went.

| I've noticed our tendency to knock it long out of defence creeping back in over the last six or seven games. Its coincided with what Sven described as other teams figuring us out - sticking all their men behind the ball and leaving fuck all space in midfield. Settled full back/winger combinations on both flanks will help I think, if we ever get that, but until then I think we'll continue to struggle with distribution from defence. I wouldn't blame Dunnie too much for it though.
Get rid of Dunne and Elano? Is that how we want the manager to go about building a stable squad?

| at the beggining when Elano form drops i was very pesimistic about him because even he played very good he was playing greedy and the team missed very good chances for goal because of him. Now i can see the change in his game, he is not that gready anymore and its willing to imrove and if he sucseeds this will benefit the team,
he is important player of our squad rotation system at the moment and maybe important first team player at the future
