| Richard Dunne, an immense defender and has been the pillar that City has built it's defence around for past 5 seasons. Agreed.
The one gripe I have with him, is his insistence to play a long ball way the hell forward. I have never seen it work for us, and we turn it over more often than not, like on Saturday when he put it straight out of bounds, twice.
Really there is no chinks in his armour but if we could see us work the ball forward through passing every time it would be the ideal route. Possession is key in any match and I would like to see the wings and Hamman/Johnson/Gelson make sure we move it forward rather than having to lump.

| I agree. I'd rather see him do that though than try things he's not comfortable with, but it does bug the hell out of me. Not just from him either, but in general, from anybody.

Succession rate would indicate he isnt too comfoprtable with this method either dude.
You're right, he is not alone, Bally/Onuaha guilty toop and to a lesser extent Corluka and Micah ...actually scratch that Corluka's pass completion is A-grade. Mich started well when he first took to 1st team but now going forward he really doesnt have much of a delivery.

There, I've said it.
Interesting. I think to shift Dunne would be a mistake, we've built the defence around him, and who would be an alternative?
Elano, he has shown what he is capable of, I trust it will return to that soon enough. Even by next season isnt too late.

If Dunny and Elano went in the summer I wouldn't be too upset. There, I've said it. You been smoking the crack again? Nope. Dunny is a good solid CB, but as stated above his ball distribution is wank, plus he's fucking about with his new contract which is summat I hate. As for Elano, he's gone well off the boil and is now blaming the state of pitches in the EPL ffs.

| I think both Pearce and Sven are building the club around Dunney and I can see him being with the club for decades

| ESM all very well but he has to be replaced, who could be a likely candidate that would setlle immediately in EPL? I think it would be very risky to get rid now. Not til Onuaha and Micah get more games clocked up.
