It is usually a good paper and it is the only foreign paper I read on a regualar basis. David Conn is a very good football writer but some of the other football news reports have been a bit loose recently. Before the derby they spoke about an increase in Munich chants at COMS. This went from chanting at the ground to chanting in a pub to "I-heard-that-someone-heard-some-city-fans-may-have-been-chanting-Munich-songs-in-a-pub".

| Aaaaaanyway. Back on topic. I read this and he did say that there wouldn't be a huge amount... spent? spended? (haha see what I did) ...in the summer but the big budget will be for the year after. He did say that there would be strengthening in every area of the team this summer though, and in his words "defence, midfield, attack". So I make that three players. Oh yes I can count. But they will be good players, world class even, SUPERSTARS even. Oh! flashback of kevin keegan falling of his racer. Remember that? Grazed elbow. Oh nasty!!
