Dear Kate
Thank you for your kind letter dated 11th February 2008 and I apologise for the delay in responding. I receive a lot of correspondence, but I did want to respond to yours personally.
As I am sure you will appreciate that since my appointment, it has been a busy period for the team and myself but I hope people have seen the hard work we have all put in and I hope this shows with our progress this season.
Although our recent form hasn't been ideal, we are still building the foundations of what we hope will be many years of success in the future. I am very pleased with the progress we have made to date and am happy to hear how proud you are of Manchester City. I'm very proud also to be part of what we hope will be a new era in Manchester City's success.
