Until they noticed... My Dad works for a semi-state agency called An Foras Áiseanna Saothair or FÁS for short. A few years ago he went to Hungary on a working trip. Every time himself or any of the other FÁS delegates gave a talk the locals ended up trying to supress their laughter. After a few days my dad asked what was so funny. They explained that the word "FÁS" was Hungarian slang for an erection. My dad had been been giving talks about "FÁS thrusting into eastern Europe", "FÁS penetrating new markets", "FÁS rising to the challange" etc etc.
