beer (18/03/2008)
this Bojinov hype is ridiculous. Stop waitin for a saviour.

It probably won't be him.

And he already started talkin about how he missed Italy.

Im gonna go ahead and speak for the millions... Beer, do us all a favour and pester some other clubs fans.

We are not in trouble, why would we be waiting for a saviour? We have a whole team of saviours out there compared with last season. We are waiting to see how good a striker we have got for £5m. Hardly calling him a saviour.

Cant you understand our eagerness to see the lad on the field? He was being touted as the Bulgarian equivalent to Rooney. We have every right to look forward to his return

*shows beer the door*

Didn't Bojinov get pulled out of training again for a couple of weeks?

True, I saw that in mcfc.co.uk

I want to see Bojinov play too, but unless he is 100% I don't want to see him play. These are the types of injuries you need to take your time and make sure you are healthy or you will only mess it up more. I really am excited to see Bojinov play and I think him and Benjani would be a great 1-2 punch up front. Having said that though, you can't be knocking on Caicedo. The guy is 19 years old, built like a fuckin' tank, and the ball sticks to his foot. Did you see him dribble the ball into the corner at the end of the game on Sunday? He was just toying with the ball and looks like he has great skill. His finishing wasn't the best, but I don't think we can come to conclusions on that until after a few more appearances.

I suggest we drink.. before we go out to drink

i don`t know how strong is Caicedo but when i compare him Caicedo 19 years old with Bojinov lets say 16 years old i see like man and kid in favor of Bojinov, Sven must play real goalscorer not some phisicly strong kids , this is not light atletics

Bojinov will be one of your new signings for the next season, that's clear ..
But of course, I hope he could make some appearances until the end of the season, but I doubt he would be able to impress after so much time without playing.

Courage, boy!

chances of playing 4-4-2 when he's fit, erm, how about fuck all! it'll be a big pile of 4-5-1 bollocks no matter who's fit.

Was down at Carrington today and Boj was training with the reserves. They were doing running and one of the fitness coaches took him off to do some on his own before he joined in with some passing and possesion.

Boost for City as Bojinov finally set for first team return

Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov will finally resume first team training next week, seven months after rupturing knee ligaments on his debut for the club.

The 22-year-old Bulgarian international has been sorely missed as City have struggled for goals in recent weeks but has been held back by club medical staff.

Such were the complications of the injury Bojinov suffered just ten minutes in to his debut against Manchester United last August that it has taken even longer than usual for the £5.75m summer signing to get back to fitness.

Early blow: Valeri Bojinov suffered the injury on his City debut

But City boss Sven Goran Eriksson expects to welcome Bojinov back in to the first team pool next week at last.

Meanwhile, another striker Emile Mpenza is expected to leave the club this summer after failing to play enough games to trigger a one-year extension to his current contract.

The Belgian recently refused a loan move to Championship club Leicester City.
