Half time and i have come to the conclusion that Owen wouldn't even get into our squad never mind the first XI We were just talking about this. Owen's strengths were always his pace and his finishing. Now he doesn't have as much pace, he gets into far fewer positions to finish, and there isn't enough to his all-round game to compensate for that loss. These days he looks ordinary, though put him in a position where he does get a one on one and he'd probably still bury it, he just can't create that opportunity for himself so much any more.
