I think Mido and Koumas were both victims of hysteria this weekend

Agreed. Especially Mido.

Mido deserved to go.  It was no way deliberate, but players should take more care on the pitch.  He did boot the bloke in the head.

Take more care? It's a physical game. It's not Mido's fault Clichy is a midget!

You can't equate Mido's tackle with Taylor's. Neither was intentional but Taylors tackle was down to poor technique and carelessness. Mido wasn't tackling he was trying to bring the ball under control. You can't send a player off for that. The world has gone soft.

So, if a bloke is 5'2" you can boot him in the head? Fair enough.  It is true that Mido may have got away with a yellow card for his raised boot in most games.  Taylor got sent off and deserves his three matches - at least. The outcry from the Arsenal players is hypocritical.  They have never been shy about sticking the boot in and have got away with a lot over the years.

If it had been Gallas in that challenge with Mido it would have been a yellow. I don't think that because Mido is tall and Clichy short that it then warrants a red. Thats like operating a handicapping system.

I think if Mido had booted Gallas in the head the ref would have shook his hand.
